Andrew Janzen
Andrew Janzen is a graduate research assistant in Electrical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, CA.
Andrew received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering summa cum laude from George Fox University in 2014. He is an Eagle Scout, a Congressional Award silver medalist, and enjoys being outdoors, playing music, and presenting in public. His undergraduate research focused on the novel use of magnetic devices to increase efficiency in motors and generators. As a graduate student he has worked on RFI measurements and is currently designing a cryogenically cooled Square Kilometer Array (SKA) prototype Low Noise Amplifier (LNA).
